On the energy balance of Newtonian Gravitation
Abstract
It is shown that the energy density formulas of Newtonian gravity by Maxwell, Bondi and Ohanian cannot be distinguished by boundary conditions, and also the corresponding energy balances are identical. However, they are not equivalent.
