A Recent Survey on AI Enabled Practices for Smart Agriculture
Abstract
Precision farming, often known as smart agriculture, is gaining a lot of attention due to its potential to change the agricultural industry. The application of artificial intelligence (AI) in smart agriculture has been shown to increase sustainability, resource management, and productivity. This report presents the findings from a recent survey of AI-supported smart agriculture techniques. With the growing global population and ongoing environmental issues, there is a growing need for sustainable and efficient farming methods. Artificial intelligence (AI), which has the potential to be a game-changing technology, might significantly change farming operations. The employment of several artificial intelligence (AI) tools, including machine learning, computer vision, robots, and the Internet of Things (IoT), in agriculture is examined in this survey. Analyzing real-world case studies demonstrates the effective use of AI in crop management, disease detection, and resource optimization. The limitations and issues of using AI in agriculture are also discussed in the paper. The results provide useful information for scholars, policymakers, and other interested parties who want to make the most of AI's potential to support clever and sustainable agricultural methods.
